Who looks after your information
FreshWebDemo is run by FreshWebDemo using FreshWeb, a service provided by The Makers Collective Ltd (company number 09372069) of 60 Windsor Avenue, London, SW19 2RR.
That means responsibility is shared, and it is worth being clear about which is which:
- Buying a physical item, or messaging the shop: FreshWebDemo decides how your information is used. FreshWeb holds it for them and acts on their instructions.
- Running the site itself: FreshWeb is responsible, for things like keeping the shop secure and remembering what is in your basket.
If you are unsure who to ask, ask either of us and we will sort it out between us.
What we collect, and why
When you buy something: your name, email address, delivery address where the item is physical, what you ordered, and what you paid. We need this to take your order, deliver it, and give you a receipt. Without it we cannot sell you anything.
When you pay: your payment is handled by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never reach us or the shop.
When you use the contact form: your name, email address and message. We pass these to the shop so they can reply to you. We do not keep a copy. The message lands in their email, and it is theirs from that point.
When you use "My orders": your email address, so we can send you a sign-in link and show you your own orders. There is no password and no account to manage.
When you browse: your IP address and basic request information, briefly, to keep the site working and to block abuse.
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, we do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell your information to anyone.
Cookies
Only ones that make the shop work, which is why there is no cookie banner:

There are no analytics or advertising cookies on this shop.
Who else sees your information
We use a small number of companies to run the shop. They act on our instructions and cannot use your information for their own purposes:
- Cloudflare: hosts the shop and stores product images and files
- Neon: the database holding orders
- Stripe: takes payments and holds card details
- Resend: sends order confirmations and passes contact form messages on
- Anthropic: provides the assistant the shop owner uses to run their shop
One thing worth knowing about that last one. The shop owner runs FreshWebDemo by chatting to an AI assistant over WhatsApp. So that they can be told about orders and answer your questions, your name, your message, and the fact you ordered can appear in that conversation, and that conversation is processed by Anthropic. Your card details never do, and neither does your delivery address.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Where your information is held
Our providers may hold or process information outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the safeguards UK data protection law requires, usually the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
Orders are kept while the shop is open and for six years after the tax year they fall in, because tax law requires it.
Contact form messages are not stored by us at all. Whatever the shop owner keeps in their own email is up to them.
"My orders" sign-in links last 15 minutes. The cookie that keeps you signed in lasts 30 days.
Basket contents disappear when you clear them or when the cookie expires.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information held about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, object to how it is used, or ask for it in a portable format.

If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
Changes
If we change how information is used, we will update this notice and change the version at the top.
